Maham Properties Ltd is a dynamic and growing property management company, overseeing a diverse portfolio of residential, commercial, and mixed-use assets. We are currently seeking an experienced Retrofitter (Construction & Building Trades) to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver retrofitting works across our residential, commercial, and hospitality portfolio, focusing on insulation, airtightness, ventilation systems, and sustainable heating solutions.
  • Assess outdated building structures to design and implement appropriate restoration and retrofit measures that comply with council-mandated energy-efficiency upgrades.
  • Restore properties requiring partial or full renovation, including listed and older buildings, while integrating modern energy-saving technologies.
  • Prepare, cut, and install new materials such as insulation boards, membranes, and cladding in line with technical and regulatory specifications.
  • Safely remove and replace outdated systems, fixtures, or building elements in compliance with environmental and health and safety legislation.
  • Retrofit and upgrade windows, doors, heating, and ventilation systems to achieve required EPC ratings.
  • Carry out airtightness testing, sealing, and thermal performance checks to evidence compliance with project and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with other skilled trades (electricians, plumbers, plasterers, joiners) to deliver integrated retrofit solutions on complex restoration projects.

  • Maintain detailed records of completed works, materials used, and energy-performance outcomes for regulatory and council reporting.
  • Uphold strict adherence to UK building regulations, environmental standards, and workplace safety policies at all times.

Language Requirements

  • Minimum: English language proficiency at B1 level (CEFR) is required.

  • Desirable: Knowledge of Urdu, Hindi, and Punjabi.

  • Comprehensive Portfolio Management: Lead the management of varied properties to maximise operational efficiency and financial performance.

  • Maintenance & Facility Oversight: Develop maintenance strategies, coordinate repair operations, and manage service contracts to maintain high property standards.
